Reporter: Mike Rudon, News Staff,

The Reporter has been able to confirm that a laborer from Dangriga Town, Anthony Picart, 53, has died as a result of wounds he received while socializing with a friend on Sunday. Police were called out to the Southern Regional Hospital on Sunday afternoon and observed two men with multiple chop wounds to the body – Calvin Figueroa, 29, with a gaping wound to his left arm and Picart with chop wounds to his left arm and back. Reports are that the men got into an argument which led to them inflicting the wounds on each other. There is no word yet on whether Figueroa will be charged for the murder of Picart. We’ll have more on this story as official details are released.
