Argentine Vice-President, Amado Boudou must appear in court later this year on a charge of corruption.
The allegation is that Mr Boudou used his influence to ensure that a company he allegedly controlled got a contract to print Argentina’s banknotes. The case involving the Ciccone Calcografica printing company has been under investigation for more than three years. He was Argentina’s economy minister at the time.
While the country’s opposition has called for his resignation, Mr Boudou has denied the charge. He is scheduled to appear in court on 15 July.
