Security Ministry meets with stakeholders to address crime

By Michelle Sutherland

As part of its continued nationwide consultation to discuss citizen’s security and crime prevention, the Ministry of National Security on Friday held its second round of consultations with key stakeholders.

The ministry started off its morning session with the Belize Council of Churches and the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry, followed by the National Trade Union Congress of Belize.

All sessions were hosted at the Police Training Academy in Belmopan. It is expected that the consultations will help to form policy on dealing with crime moving forward.
