Police in Orange Walk are looking for two culprits, who robbed a business man of his cash and cell phone using a toy gun.
Mohamed Zium Hoque Chowhury, 28, a Bangladeshi business man was robbed of $250 cash and a cell phone valued at $ 1,800.
Chowhury reported to police that on April 12th, around 9:20 a.m while he was inside his store on the Otro Benque Road, Orange Walk, two men, one armed with what appeared to be a firearm and the other with a knife, entered his establishment.
Chowhury stated that both individuals pulled out their weapon and held him up. Shortly after a struggle ensued between himself and the individual with the gun, Chowhury noticed that the gun was plastic.
Both men escaped. Police are investigating.
