Dangriga business woman robbed

By Michelle Sutherland

A 33-year-old Dangriga businesswoman and her two daughters were robbed inside their store on Friday.

According to police, the gunman entered their establishment around 4:45 p.m. and stole a gold chain, valued at $700.

The woman told police that while she was along with her two daughters inside the shop, a man came to the window and ordered a water pouch from one of the girls.

While the minor went to the freezer to get the water, the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at the woman and ordered her not to move.

The man then entered through a gate, with the gun in his hand and stole the chain from around the girl’s neck. The thief then escaped on a bicycle with another man.
