BTL launches “The DigiCell Store”

By Benjamin Flowers, Staff Reporter

Today, Belize Telemedia Limited held the official launch for its newly renovated office called “The DigiCell Store.”

The event started off with a brief ceremony and ribbon-cutting at the facility, located at the corner of Bishop and Regent Street. BTL then gave invited guests a tour of the building, before opening up to the public to browse their promotions and services in commemoration of the event.

BTL’s Chief Customer Service Officer, Zellie Tillett, explained that customers can now have a one-of-a-kind experience at the new office, given the upgrades they made to ensure customer satisfaction.

“They can now go to the tablet area, and chat with a customer care representative, and report a fault, check their balance and make any other inquiry.” Tillett said.

She added that customers can still sit and speak with a representative of they choose to. She added that BTL, for the first time in the company’s history, has begun selling accessories such as chargers and phone cases, for the phones that it sells. BTL has officially ceased all operations at its Church Street office, and moved all the services offered there, to the DigiCell Store.
