Taiwan doctors offer free medical care

Belizeans in need of an eye exam, or treatment of ailments to their ears, nose and throat, or those with kidney problems will be pleased to know they may access free medical care for these ailments from a team of Taiwanese doctors from the Far Eastern Memorial Hospital (FEMH) in Taiwan, who will visit Belize next week, from Monday to Thursday October 5-8.

The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is hosting the medical team, who will offer free clinics from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the ears, nose and throat specialists and the nephrologist providing treatment at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) in Belize City, while the ophthalmologist will offer free eye clinics next door at the Belize Council for Visually Impaired (BCVI).
