VIP calls for COMPOL resignation

The Vision Inspired by the People (VIP) has called for Commissioner of Police, Allen Whylie to resign.
The VIP said that they are “of the opinion that the current Commissioner of Police is unable to carry out and execute under his command, a true, faithful and impartial inquiry into the Won Hong Kim passport scandal.”
The VIP called it a “damning and most humiliating indictment on the performance of the Commissioner of Police,” referring to C.J. Benjamin saying that Whylie’s lack of initiative in the case was “irrational, unreasonable and unlawful.”
On Monday, CJ Benjamin issued a judicial order for Whylie to launch an investigation into the Elvin Penner immigration scandal.
Although the investigation into the Immigration has been ordered to begin , it still seems unlikely that Elvin Penner will face penalty given that the statute of limitation for Penner to be charged expires within the week.
