Three persons narrowly escaped serious injuries after the vehicle they were traveling in on Friday morning had a tire blow-out, causing it to flip several times.
Precinct IV police report that at around 11:00 a.m. the white Ford Ranger, driven by Mark Sutherland, experienced the malfunction near mile three on the Phillip Goldson highway.
The vehicle suffered a blow-out to the right rear tire, which caused it to flip.
Sutherland and his passengers, Glenda Torres and Lydo Myvett, suffered minor injuries to the neck and back. They were transported to the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital (KHMH), where they are being treated.
The vehicle was travelling from Belize City to Ladyville at the time.
