Pepsi delivery truck robbed in Belize City

Three thieves held up and robbed the occupants of a Pepsi delivery truck at gunpoint on Mahogany street in Belize City on Thursday afternoon.

The thieves made off with a total of $2,479.50 after they held up 39 year-old John Gabourel and 31 year-old Raynard Rhaburn at 1:35 p.m., on May 11.

The delivery men told police that while they were on Mahogany street when three men approached them. One of the men who had a handgun, demanded money.

The thieves took away Gabourel’s wallet containing $54.00, along with his ATM and identification cards; and Rhaburn handed over a bag containing the money from the day’s sale to the men, who then fled.

Police say their investigations into the incident continues.
