Orange Walk man critical after early morning stabbing

An Orange Walk resident is in a critical condition at the Northern Regional Hospital (NRH) following a stabbing around 4:00 a.m.

Police say they visited the NRH at around 4:15 a.m., to find 27-year-old Llamont Wade of Key Hole Alley, Orange Walk Town with multiple stab wounds to his, chest, abdomen, and back. The Department added that initial investigations revealed that Wade was socializing at a party on Rio Grande Street when he got into an altercation which resulted in his injuries.

Police are investigating the matter but so far has not reported that anyone has been detained in relation to the incident, or that they have ascertained the subject matter of the altercation. More updates wilk be given as they become available.
