Cricel Castillo, the fitness model who was suspended three weeks ago from the Belize Body Building & Fitness Federation (BBBFF) stole the show at the the World Beauty Fitness and Fashion Competition at the Hyatt Convention Center in Miami on Saturday. She won the first prize in the fitness segment and in the costume segment, elevating her to professional level.
Castillo’s costume was a gold-coloured two-piece bikini set, designed by Gabriel Garcia.
Her two-year suspension barred her from representing Belize in any tournament sponsored by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, but she went on to join the World Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (WBFF), which invited to her take part.
As her prize, Cricel collected a trophy and professional certification, signed by WBFF President, Paul Dillett. This now entitles her to enter other international competitions.
She has said that since her win, she has already begun to receive offers for very attractive contracts from acclaimed fitness clubs.
Cricel was suspended from the BBBFF for making critical remarks about the management.
