Albert Genity, a Laboratory Techni-cian working at the Matron Robert’s Clinic in Belize City, was charged with sexual assault upon a woman.
He appeared in court this Thursday to enter a not guilty plea and was represented by Attorney, Douglas Carr.

According to the woman victim, she visited the lab to obtain a vaginal test on Friday, January 23, 2015. Her statement claims Genity started the test but she put an abrupt stop to it after he touched her inappropriately.

Genity, a resident of Freetown Road, was taken into Court 4, where Magistrate Dale Cayetano presided. There his attorney claimed the allegations where trumped-up charges which had no merit. He added that his client was a father and cared for his elderly mother. Genity was then offered bail of $5,000 plus one surety of the same amount. His case was adjourned for April 1, 2015. He met bailbefore noon on Thursday.
