If  we were  by some  means able to remove the Sun from our solar system our world would become a very dark place – dark and cold because our planet Earth, is lit and warmed by the sun.

Without sunlight most trees and plants, unable to photosynthesize, would die! It would be only a question of time before men and women themselves also disappear from the Earth just like the dinosaurs of old.

If this brave new world of the 21st. Century were somehow able to discredit the Sacred Scriptures or in some way remove it from circulation this would cause a winter of darkness over all the peoples of the earth and blot out the light of truth, which has been the  primier civilizing influence of our world.

The Bible, with its central figure, Jesus Christ, is the spiritual light of the  world. The light shines on the darkness and reveals the truth about the Supreme Being who created the universe, and instructs men and women who inhabit the Earth on how to live their borrowed lives.

Belizeans are caught up in a 21st. century dilemma, having to choose between the progressiveness of advanced countries who support and advocate homosexual relationships  under the guise of human rights, and  their simple faith in Scriptural  teachings, which tell them that God is the Creator of the Universe, that His word is Law.

Belizeans are wise in not wanting to separate themselves from the Bible and from the teachings which have brought so much light and  symmetry and comfort  to their lives. That is why they cannot embrace the agenda of  homosexual relationships.

There is absolutely no comfort in the message  that homosexual love is a human right. If it goes against Scriptural teachings, on whose authority does it become a human right?

Belizeans find that they cannot accept this new right of gay love without rejecting the biblical imperative of Thou Shalt not. They cannot abandon the tried and true way of self-discipline and morality for the new way of anything goes!

If we do this, and by so doing bring down upon our heads the wrath of God, who is there that will come and deliver us from our certain doom?
