Last Friday a woman was attacked inside her home by two masked men who stabbed her multiple times to her neck, tied her up and made off with her flat screen television.

Around 4:45 a.m on September 22nd, 45-year-old Romie Anthony of a La Croix Boulevard address in Belize City was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) suffering from multiple stab wounds to her neck.

According to police, Anthony was inside her room sleeping when she was awakened by noises coming from her living room. Upon making checks she discovered two dark complexion men dressed in dark clothing with masks covering their faces, trying to disassemble her flat screen television from the wall.
Anthony told police that both men grabbed her, while one of them stabbed her multiple times to her neck. She was then taken to her room and tied up with an electric cord.

After the culprits left, she managed to untie herself and noticed that her television was missing. She then made her way to a police checkpoint which was stationed a couple blocks away from her house.
Police say that their investigations into the matter continues.
