Woman held up, robbed at home

Corozal police are looking for two men following a home invasion and armed robbery in San Pedro Village, Corozal on Wednesday.

Rutilia Cob, 52, reported that she was having breakfast inside her house around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday April 1st when two men wearing masks, one of whom carried a handgun, startled her upon their entry through the front door.

Cob said the one with the weapon pointed it at her and demanded cash. When she replied that she had none, the men ransacked her house and stole jewelry and other personal belongings worth around $2,500. The men fled without physically injuring Cob.
