Wednesday morning murder

A 28-year-old man is out on bail for attempted murder after he was shot in the back of the head and killed around 10 Wednesday morning on Wagner’s lane as he sat on a stool in a yard.

Robert Tracy, a resident of Holy Emanuel Street in the Gungulung area, Lake Independence division, was hanging out when an unknown assailant approached him and unleashed a single bullet, execution style.

According to Raphael Martinez, police press officer, police have no suspects in custody and no description of the attacker but investigations continue. Police information suggests that Tracy is known to frequent and hang out at different areas in the City.

Tracy was well known to police with a rap-sheet including charges such as burglary, grievous harm, wounding, theft and drug possession. Tracy was out on bail for the attempted murder of Loren Lennon Welch on March 7th 2012.

Tracy also had three previous attempts on his life, the most recent being on the February 15 of this year on Central American Boulevard where he was shot to the center of the back. 

Before that, Tracy was shot on Magazine Road in the thigh, buttocks and finger on September 4th 2011. After that Tracy was also shot on December 19, 2012 on Holy Emanuel to the wrist.
