Police say that the remains of a man found on Thursday morning are those of 23 year-old Marvin Rafael Bol, a resident of Ladyville who was the prime suspect of a series of burglaries that had been occurring in the community.
The remains were discovered around 9:00 a.m., scattered in an area near Dew Drop Estate at mile 11 off the Philip Goldson Highway. Clothing which Bol was last seen with was found nearby, including a pair of blue jeans pants, which contained his social security card, an unused condom, a pair of boxers and a shirt.
Bol’s mother, Antonia Cal, positively identified the remains as those of her son’s. She said that he left her house on November 23rd because they were not on good terms due to a drug addiction he had as well as frequent conflicts he had with his sister.
