Keisha Buller, 25, a female customs officer was murdered at around 3:00 p.m. on Friday, at her house in Benque Viejo del Carmen.
Reports reaching The Reporter are that shortlty after the killing, police pursued a car speeding from the scene and towards Belize City. They eventually intercepted the vehicle in Central Farm. Inside the car was Buller small son and there was blood in the vehicle and o. Thr driver, someone who the victim knew intimately.
That person is now detained and reports are that the murder was the result of a domestic conflict.
Officer commanding the Benque Viejo police station, Superintendent Daniel Arzu has said that the dispute started at Buller’s house and ended on the street where she collapsed and died near her car. She had been stabbed in the neck and abdomen, and the suspected murder weapon was found at her house. Police also say that the victim’s grandmother witnessed the incident.
