Gillet said he tried to avoid the collision by drifting to the right hand side of the road it could not be avoided.

Police found the Rav 4 in the middle of the road with extensive damage to its front portion, while the truck was parked about 300 feet away.

Gillett has provided police with a urine sample and has since been issued with a Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP), while police continue their investigation.
