2017 Agriculture Trade Show dates released

The new dates for the 2017 Agricultural and Trade Show have been announced by the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as the commencement of the preparation of the grounds.

The Ministry noted the dates are set for the 28th, 29th and 30th of April, and will be celebrated under the theme: “Lets Get Growing”.

The committee responsible for the preparation of the expo reminds interested persons that the reservation of concession stands, food stalls, open spots and commercial booths have since commenced.

First preference will be granted to persons who had 2016 leases, and will have until March 17, to confirm their desire to re-establish their booth lease. This preference will exist except where there was a reconfiguration of the grounds and/or removal of booths, in which case that space is no longer available for sale.

Effective March 20, potential new vendors or those wishing to relocated to new locations, are invited to visit the NATS headquarters, located on the show grounds to view available spaces and make the necessary transaction if so desired.

Intrested vendors are asked to contact the Ministry for information on deposits of payments and signing of lease agreement, vendors with down payments will have until April 14 to complete payments after which deposit becomes non-refundable.

The annual leading agricultural showcase have been in existence since 1970 and have serve to educate the public on the importance of agriculture and its contribution to Belize’s economy.

The show usually features the judging of crops and livestock display, main stage entertainment, trade, deals on goods and services, rodeo show among other activities.
